My Pinky

In a crossroad of my life
Dreams stayed there still
It just started to disappear
leaving me all alone

In a crossroad of my life
Started questioning my will
Then they just come all fear
buried me all alone

Who was I?
Only mouth acted like boss
While heart didn’t dare
to get for real what I dream

Who was I?
Living by losing purpose
What a shame to share
that I was mocked by my own dream

A cheerful lady…
Came to my life
She was a friend
and the best story just began

A cheerful lady…
Lightened days of my life
Fast heart beat then became my friend
and the love story just began

A beautiful lady…
With her “cuek” that comforts me
keep me be myself
Me who cannot lie in love with her

A beautiful lady…
With her smile that lights me
While her sight gives peace in myself
How can I not love her?

A fine lady…
Her unpredictable acts to me
that brings surprises and jealousy
Gosh, she makes me crazy
A fine lady…
With Aishiteru that rocks me
And right away I fly
every time she calls me Aa’ tenderly

With dreams are joyfully seen
and this love caringly hugs us
nobody’s gonna stop us
Thank God, this truly happiness belongs to us

Shockable moment in my life.....

I wonder, why I always have shockable moment since I'm with my lovely mbrot.

The first time was happened when Aa' mbrot asked me to be his gurl......
we made the agreement just like business agreement, with a very seriuos expression.

The second one was happened in Malang. During our first time out-of -city trip (based on aa''s version), Aa' proposed me to be his wife. It was suddenly happened and he did it not in romantically. He shouted at me while he was proposing me. So weird, huh????

But, that's us. We don't have to pretend to be somebody, just because we want to get a good impression.

Now, I just wait for my next shockable moment with my mbrot...... :-)

Aishiteru,...mbrot.

Malang, Hometown of Momo-chan

Momo-chan (I just like to call my hunny this name lately),
actually Semarang was not the first city we ever visited.

Our first out-of-city trip together was when we went to Malang, your hometown.
I had thought that Malang had been a cool city, same as Bandung in 80's.
As matter of fact, it was so hot in middle of afternoon!
The sun perfectly shined to make us dry, hotter than Jakarta.
However, I have to admit that afternoon in Jakarta currently is terribly burning :-(

Back to our first trip in Malang, eventough the day was sweltering, the night was so damn cold, brr brr brr...
I even needed two blankets to make myself feel warm.
Mm, suddenly I remember that one of best things happened there was when Momo-chan woke me up for Subuh pray :-)
Hei, it's so cold there at night, best moment to sleep, hehe.
However, currently I also have problem to wake up early.
I guess my dear Momo-chan affects me a lot.
She loves sleeping, a lot :-)

We took a ride around the city.
Seeing some sights: Momo's school, Momo's hang out place, nature scenery...
Of course we didn't miss to taste some Malang's food.
Hunny, I guess I like kupang :-)

We also went to Batu, a hilly area that was great place to see entire Malang from above.
By riding a motorcycle, against the surrounding cold air, we went up the hill.
The apple statue was the sign that we were already in the center of Batu.
Actually, there's famous glutinous rice there with various taste, but we didn't stop by there.
We finally ate it at our second visit to Malang.

We stopped at Bethani, an Indonesian restaurant, just 200m from Batu's city park.
Honestly, it's not becoming my recommended restaurant, the food's taste was standard.
However, a remarkable moment happened there...

I did propose my lovely Momo-chan to be my wife.

Hunny, I know it's not a romantic moment.
I had just been thinking about it in a number of days.
And I just felt that it was the right time...

Luv u, my soulmate.

Semarang-day 2

Day 2

After spending a fantastic time in day 1, we tried to get more exciting places to be explored in day 2.

In the morning (actually it wasn't morning time, but for us that was still early time to awake), we planed to go to old buddhist temple or in bahasa we call it "klenteng". This klenteng locates in Lombok Street (sorry, I forget the name).
Nearby klenteng, there's also lumpia "hawker" (refers to Singaporean slang for street cafe). But compare with mbak Lien's lumpia, I thought I preferred mbak Lien's. Unfortunately, we didn't come to this "klenteng" in previous day. If we came earlier, we were gonna see the ceremony of The Earth God.

In here, Momo took so many picture of herself and one picture of kitty's. After satisfying for taking picture, we decided to go to another "klenteng". This Klenteng locates far away from downtown. So, we should take taxi to go there. And believe me, If you have a time to visit this "klenteng" better you take bus or "angkot".Because the rate of taxi in Semarang is very very expensive, it's more expensive compared than in Jakarta.

Arrived to this second "klenteng", we really enjoyed the view there. This second klenteng stands in the hilly area. The air was so fresh and the sun shined not too bright. It was a little bit cloudy. The area of this klenteng is much bigger than the other one. But, the building is more modern, with oriental touch, just a little bit similar with Thailand's temple (It's my dream to go to Thailand. I just can't wait to go there with u hunny).

As always, we did momo's hobby here, "took her picture with her famous V-finger". We spent much time at this temple. Looking for good angle to be shot while we got serious conversation about culture.

Satisfied to get some pictures, we returned to downtown, looking some "oleh-oleh" for our friends and family. At that time, we made a decision to buy Bandeng presto, lumpia and also other snacks. We chose to go by becak from bus station to Bandeng Presto Store in Pandanaran street. There are so many stores which sell Bandeng Presto and the other traditional foods in this street, but the famous one is Bandeng Presto Juwana.

Due to limited time and we were in hurry to chase our flight, we couldn't explore this street for so long. Finished buying some snacks, we went back to Novotel hotel to pick up our belongings there and also to take some pictures of us in that hotel.

Finally....KittynMomo's Semarang Trip has to be ended here. Because we should go back to Jakarta, dealing with our routinities and finding new destination to be explored next.

C u in our next trip then......

Our first trip.......

Semarang, the first city that I traveled with fatty kitty. The first time I came there, I just felt that it's looked like the old city. So many heritage buildings, that were built in the colonial era, are stood in this city. I really impressed with those buildings. Perhaps, it's bcos my educational background is civil engineering, so everything that related with the structural and building are always impressing me. :-)

Day 1...... After taking a long trip by train, we were picked up by Novotel's staff to take us to the Novotel hotel. During our first afternoon, we walked along Pemuda street, going to Lawang Sewu, which is known as scariest place in Semarang, but for momo it's not scary at all.

As always, momo didn't miss that moment to ask fatty kitty to take a picture of hers. In addition, Aa' also took the picture, off course more less than momo :-p. In Pemuda street, there is "mbak Lien" lumpia corner. Just believe me, that lumpia is so "lecker"..... If you go to Semarang, you should try that lumpia and I guarantee, u will get addicted.

At nite, we took a tour around Simpang Lima. We were just having sightseeing of Saturday nite's market. And then, we bought "tempe mendoan and tahu petis. ehhhhhhhmmm...yummmmy, another snack that u should try after lumpia and it was ended by drinking "wedang jahe", favorite beverage of momo. At the end of nite, we went back to the hotel by Becak......(momo was so sleepy..ZZzzz)

to be continued on day 2....................

What a Wonderful World

I feel so peaceful today....I just feel that the weather is amazing now and people live in serenity. Perhaps it's bcos the affect of the song that I've recently listened. It's sung by Louis Armstrong, entitled "What a Wonderful World "

Here's the lyrics......

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you....
And I Think to my self, What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white....
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to my self, What a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands, saying "How do you do?"

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow....
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to my self, What a wonderful world
Yes, I think to my self, What a wonderful world........
